Medical bills are one of the most important items to include in the settlement brochure. All insurance claims adjusters and insurance defense attorneys use them to one degree or another to calculate settlement value of the case.
“Specials” is short for “special damages” which are basically specifically provable items such as medical bills and lost wages.
